Sunlight Summer

the nights are short, the days long
sun up above where it belongs
warms the earth and the tender soul
unfortunate for the one's who live is holes

the bird sings and the busy, busy bee's
and the blossoming of flowers and tree's
, trees stretch out the branches full of life
out come the hedgehogs, birds and mice

fills the world with a wonderful sound
as out spring flowers from the ground
children are allowed to play late out on the street
friendships are formed with the people they meet

sunlight summer is more than a season
full lights wonder and reason
evergreen grass and the beautiful flower
so fragile and small with mighty power

but as all things it starts to end
though we never forget our bonds of friend
memory of that will last forever
when once more we can be together
