Sunlight

You’re right/ My ray of sunshine/ My light

My car ride in the middle of the night/

Hair blowing in the wind/

And my Daddy thinks it’s a sin/

To be as happy as this/

To want to win/

This world is a game/

Waiting to be played/

By you, you/

You’re right/ My ray of sunshine/My light

My car ride in the middle of the night/

And I can’t believe/

In fairy tales/

Happy endings/

But I believe/

In us/

For you’re my/

Sunshine/ My light/

Sunlight/ In the middle of the night/

And I can’t believe/

In fairy tales/

Happy endings/

But I believe in us
