Sunlight

The earth it brings to light, As the dawn breaks from night. We bathe in the warmth of its glow, During cold winds it can still melt the snow. It warms the waters so fish can swim free, But you, might burn to a crisp out on the sea. Enough of it brings life to vegetation, Too much will make deserts with little saturation. We steal from it to make energy, It is one thing in life that is free. With it you can play in water or on sand, Or enjoy a day on a mountain with snow in your hand. Whatever you choose your day will be bright, When you see our dear friend the Sunlight.
