Sunflower Gaze

The harvest moon shines with its almost orange glow
In the gardens sun flowers grow
The clouds barely visible in moonlight move slow
The parching heat of the sun is replaced by cool airflow

The sunflower move its head down and goes to sleep
Is it counting sheep?
Or is it dreaming on being on ocean ship
Is it dreaming that it had legs and go on a trip

Next dawn
Sunflower awakes as if with a yawn
Sun has parched everything it shined upon
But fiery looking crown of sunflower caries on

Sunflowers head looks up and upon sun gazes
The partnership of sunflower and sun amazes
The crown of leaves surround the disk like many auras
Towards the sun sunflower builds spiritual bridges

Sunflower is tall
It towers above other flowers surpassing them all
Its center if it was an eye it could see towards horizon piercing its very soul
It could see limit of destiny brake and to abyss fall to free the soul
