I grew up seeing sunflowers fighting the heat and winning. I will never forget the first time I saw a massive field of sunflowers in Italy all facing the sun with their happy faces. I loved this Sam! Congratulations on your win! Blessings xxoo

That must have been an amazing sight, Connie! It is truly magical the way a sunflower will follow the light. Seems like a good example for us - to follow the light. Makes me feel like a happy sunflower to know loved this poem. Thank you for your congratulations. Here's to sunflowers! Blessings and hugs.

A nice ode to the stoic sunflower, able to thrive under the harshest of circumstances. Kind of like people in a pandemic lockdown? "See grace bloom" is just lovely. A delightful 7th inning stretch. Congrats, my friend.

Saw the vendor selling sunflower seeds of inspiration. A ballgame isn't a ball game without seeds, a hot dog and lemonade! Had a feeling you would pick up on the resilience theme. What a great comparison, John. Thank you for your always spot on messages and congrats! Was glad to add this to the line up!

The sunflower is a remarkable flower - following the sun from sunrise to sunset. They have started to grow wild in the western US - beside roads, highways and country roads. No one cares for them, waters them or feeds them and they thrive. They are truly remakable! Stay well my friend. Hope your sunflowers bloom soon!
