Sunday Morn Breaks

~ Sunday morn breaks ~

Sunday morn breaks cool and crisp
In my son's step there is a new zip
Although the sun takes its time
To burst through oak, maple and pine

As he strides toward the woods
   The road's bursting with goods
Lilacs, violets and sunflowers
   With Nature's beneficence showered

He pauses to stretch, to sigh, to inhale
   Fragrance's freshness filling lungs' sails
Abruptly pivots ~ jumping for joy
How lucky to be a young boy

Blessed are those parents who point out to a child the treasures of life that surround him during an ordinary walk. You do good, Wolf.

Aw, thanks, my friend. Really nice of you to say so. I feel better about my parenting after reading your comment. You know, you always wonder as a parent... Take care, Gershon
