Sun Without a Rays

Bent knees on the ground
When the world pulled me down
Face of mine turned into frown
Like I was lost in a crowd

Walking all alone,
Searching for unknown
Wanting what's best,
All I had were tests.

Victory was never mine
Though I kept on trying
So, I waited for the time
Until I got tired of trying

Maybe I'm destined in deep vain
Left with nothing gained
All my efforts gone astray
Like the sun lost its rays.

I hear in your poem that I fail when I try to be something that I'm not. Like you said:"all my efforts gone astray/like the sun list it's rays". Being myself takes no effort. Thanks for your poem!

desolation is a common human condition. i think it is difficult to write about, but you do very well. the image of a sun which lost its rays is a good one.
