Sun Rise Or Sun Set

The passing breeze whispers through my hair.
The temperature slowly cools and leaves a chill in the air.

I sit, feet dangling over this over pass and stare out at city lights.
I love to watch the sunset dissipate at dusk, the colors mix with orange and whites.

The birds faintly glide through the shadows as I sit in bliss.
it amazes me that the sky can be such a great artist, or that any of this exists.

Since I was a baby, my parents could not get me to sleep before ten. It's impossible. My body just wants to be up with the night owls! And I am very creative then too. I feel like death warmed over to waken before 6 a.m. Age seems to be changing me. I don't need as much sleep anymore. You are just someone that really needs your sleep. When I am not interrupted by hubbie always getting up early for work during my sleep, I seem to prefer six or seven hours naturally!

"I set" or I sit? It's a lovely read. The end really captures the amazement of life. I hope you have entered this in the contest.
