The scent of the pines is one that fills the air here in North Florida. And I love the way you have the pines dance "Discretely nurtuting hope." Evergreens have that affect, don't they? Never losing their color, always smelling fresh and vibrant. It's almost like they defy death. This was a great, uplifting read, Laura! Love, Carolyn
