Summertime Is a Sweet Song

Summertime is a sweet song in my heart
Giving me a harmonious boost in June
With brilliant sunshine and hot, hot days,
I go about singing a lovely melodious tune
While the birds join me with an obbligato
The newly leaved trees sway to keep time
Nature’s sounds are an orchestral symphony,
I am bubbling over with exuberant rhyme
Each new day brings a chorus of singing
Rhapsodies are surrounding me, it seems,
Sudden storms are the booming percussion
Night sounds of insects accompany dreams,
My heart is filled with awesome discoveries
New tunes composed as I enjoy my days
Filled with optimism and hope for a future
Of peace and goodwill for everyone…always.

I'm still concerned about your headache, etc. You probably need to stay out of the hot sun.

The summer this year is quite harsh in our part of the world, maybe reflection of climate change.
