Summertime Written by: Justin Neal Sutterfield March 01, 2005 A time for Family Bar-B-Q’s and fun Speed time relaxing in the sun Watching the children play and run The ice cream smiles Come on over and stay awhile A time for picnics and fairs How I whish you and I could be there Pop corn and cotton candy That sweet smell fills the air How it should be Summertime all year long Didn’t Alan Jackson sing that song Candy or Carmel Apple Oh, how that appeals to me Summertime all year long That’s how it should be Like that song goes Its five o’clock somewhere And that’s where I want to be
