Thank you Sara, nature has indeed some very sticky situations, but usually extracts itself on balance, unless you know who, gets involved, cheers David

Heya Len, beauty hanging on a thread, at least if my caterpillar metamorphoses into a butterfly will be worth the climb back up, cheers David

A reality Chris, I’ve seen these bungee jumping caterpillars hanging from the trees in the park, after birds land near them, curious sight indeed, thank you for stopping by, cheers David

That’s one caterpillar that will not morph into a butterfly. Love your Haiku, David.

Heya Jenna, I’d say if it can pull itself back up into the leaves it may have a chance, they bungee jump off to escape predators, hang still for a while, and if the bird doesn’t twig what’s going on, it will usually fly off bemused with its beak agape, cheers David

This particular one Darlene did survive by taking its chances, with a bungee jump to avoid the birds clutches, cheers David
