Summer's Rose
waiting throughout winter for
your beauty to appear
seemingly forever since your
presence mingled here
amongst the frozen tundra
having melted all the snow
summers warmth attracts you
and your beauty starts to grow
at last a new beginning
from this frozen earth a pose
introducing summers rebirth
at last the precious rose...
