Summer's Footprint (by the coast; back home)
There,aslant, lacquered deep blue
Glistening sea
Summer, your burning footprint!
Gilds what grassed is.
Miles off. Yet of whose own course
As wide sail's tact
Across , sheer garbed, mark Lady Wind's
Blowy ran bliss.
It stormed. Whose stamp, wetter now
Like a hot iron
Neath what bare for our child-sized
Steams up a road.
No heart since, less welcoming
Than before shuts on!
Hear our delight - with 'ows' and 'ahs'
On does ever goad.
