Summer Trek
mountain crest beckons
as pine trees waft warm zephyr
trail ushers uphill...
...basking midst sunlight
devoid of face shield and mask
my soul thanks* the Lord.**
*Psalm 136:1 "O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever."
