Summer Trees
Dappled light streams,
filtered through
Shaded green,
mossy rock gleams
Such light pooled below..
Strange flutterings,
I heard so,
in summer trees
Deepest,richest green,
filled my heart
Summer trees
Where have you been?
Lost on a soft breeze
Tall and strong
The giants of the earth
They cannot walk
Here they belong
Summer trees,
caressed the ground
Deepest, richest green
Nature's colour frieze
In it, I breathed
in it, I drowned
