Summer of Yesterday

hmmm... Let's say... As I wonder away... Lemme tell you a story... A silly story about yesterday... It was 1990, the end of summer, the end of fun, on September 3rd, school just begun. I first met her there, And I could swear, she wanted to run. hmmm... I never really thought of what we had begun, Just teenage school kids having fun? She had a beautiful voice, and always those smiles, And even more, she had such beautiful eyes. We didn't have a care! back then or there? But five years later? Oh yeah? Our first kiss to share! She turned nineteen, we met in June, How funny, as teenage love resumed. The Beauty of the past as the memories gets carried, Five years later, wouldn't you know, we got married. As ten years before it had begun, With all the teenage crazy, broke ass fun, Me and my girl, the two of us, joined as one. Our marriage was great as I would always relate, We loved each other and swore never to separate, She stood by me, always at my side, We faced the worst together and kept our pride, All the hardened times, together we survive. In 2008 we had our child, The feeling I felt was dignified. A beautiful baby, a beautiful girl, All the moments with her, she was my world. And then, Oh, ooh? As the saying would go, In the year 2010, Here we go again, My baby boy came into my world, Two babies now, a boy and a girl. The magic of children keeps you alive, They gave me purpose and strength to fight and survive. My life could never be the same, For in only family true love for life is gained, And this is where my heart would stay and undoubtedly remain. Always, Sincerely, S. F. B.

A great story, Sunil, and I am glad for you. : ) Life cannot usually be predicted ahead of time, but hopefully it makes sense when we look back and when we look at where we are. Being happy is as much of genius as anything else.
