Summer of love

heart full of wishes
lips full of kisses,
roses red with bees,
twitter, twitter trees,
summer abloom with love.

shopping malls are full,
new fashions their pull,
laughter, giggles, cheer,
beauty walks new wear,
Summer abloom with love.

ice cream vendors day,
amidst kids at play,
shorts, hats and sun cream,
romance, hearts in dream,
Summer abloom with love.

brook slithers slowly,
lilting sweet lovely,
long while to sunset,
when world looks the best,
Summer abloom with love,

…. and in my arms my angel.
