Weary summer trees anxious to rid themselves
of leaves that have grown ugly

Ask passing winds to shake and carry them away
They have lost the beauty that was summer

As supple and green no more
They cling to branches - wrinkled and dried

From summer leaves to fall fertilizers hehehe! Very good imagery and personification.

I enjoyed the imagination...taking a different look at the "not so glorious side" of autumn and the changing taking place. Clever! _Carrie
