Gates open, to the
intoxicating
sweet scented fragrance
slipping into a
trance, encountering
a mosaic of
colours, shouting in
ecstasy,
embracing nature
and summer.
When mother nature
presents the fruits of
her spring labour,
it's filled with movement,
birds nesting,
calls of crickets, and
frogs fill the night air.
A camouflage of
natural world
gleaning fruiting fields,
vines, shrubs, trees,
and flowering plants
Goldenrod
and milkweed
hosting an array
of insects.
Summer rain
drenching the
summer thirst.
Night time stargazing
for constellations
as evening
twilight fades
