Mirror Sestet
A six lined (eight syllable per line) rhymed poem.
The first word of line 1 rhymes with the last word of line 1.The first word of line 2 is the last word of line 1 and the last word of line 2 is the 1st word of line 1.
The first word of line 3 rhymes with the last word of line 3.
The first word of line 4 is the last word of line 3 and the
last word of line 4 is the 1st word of line 3.
The first word of line 5 rhymes with the last word of line 5.
The first word of line 6 is the last word of line 5 and the
last word of line 6 is the 1st word of line 5.
Sunshine feels tangibly divine
divine basking in the sunshine.
Beguiled flowers favor the wild
wild roses enchant the beguiled.
Tents and backyard barbecue scents
scents that recall sleeping in tents.
Laughs over childish children's gaffes
gaffes are accompanied by laughs.
Splits sprinkled with sugary bits
bits enhance the flavor of splits.
Fun times inspiring youth to run
run and enjoy summertime fun.
