Summer Ends

Brisk and spring like
a sense of calm dances silently
    with bright and colorful leaves
morning dew shimmers against shadowed Ivy
    it's high noon
    temperature rising
    gasping for air
    won't be long
before birds sail against the wind
    flocking south
I believe firefly, no longer live here
    buzzing bees has disappeared
now that we are at summers end
    during the night
    whistling crickets sings
    while baby chicks
     wrap beneath their mothers wings
    on the nearest farm
    this is falls beginning
    as summer ends....
