Summer Daze

Sunshine abundant forecast for today,
Arise; go forth; enjoy: 'Tis the time for play.
Which activity will you choose?
Sailing, boating, perhaps paddling canoes.

Sipping a tall, cold lemonade,
Or a hammock nap in the shade.
Reclining on some beach's sands,
Catching rays to build your tan'

A camping trip, a little hike,
Maybe go sight seeing on a bike.
Whate'er you do, remember this:
God desires to be in your midst.

He it is who gives you strength,
And He alone gives summer their length'
He created you with eyes and ears,
To enjoy His creation, which is oh, so near.

He gives you friends and your family.
Take time to thank Him on bended knee'
As you enjoy your summer daze,
Be sure to give the Lord all your praise.
