Summer Cooking

When our sun is high in a clear blue sky

Glee overwhelms me as I smell warm pie,

nothing better than summer fruit cooking

steaming hot, exceptionally good looking,

served with custard or smooth ice cream

apple, fresh berries, with pie life’s a dream,

summer is calming makes me feel humble 

especially enjoying my fresh fruit crumble,

Puddings are so good to eat all year round

non better than summer pudding I’ve found,

I would eat pie for breakfast, dinner or tea 

I love puddings well that’s it, that’s just old me.
