Summer Afternoon
And it rises from the east... a bright star ,
Better than the one that came out last night ,
Country side people watch this from afar ,
Delighted to see their crops dried on site,
Even the rose blooms and attracts this day ,
Forest trees spread their tentacles around ,
Garden birds display in a funny way ,
Holiday makers made the beach their ground.
I watch the rays fall on me from the sky ,
Just as zephyr sings softly in my ears ,
Kismet has made this season to comply ,
Leading to soil enrichment in few years .
Many can now expose their skin to sun ,
New games played by kids as carousel rolls ,
Out-of-work men roam the street without fun,
Pubs singers start their songs to lift up souls .
