Summer
I am only the teacher. These are the wonderful poems
by my wonderful kids. The authors are 11 and 12 years old,
JB, and JH.
Summer
In the summer, waves are crashing
In the summer, sun is dazzling
Summer is that time of year
Summer will just make you cheer
Water sparkles in the light
S'mores are crackling in the night
Summertime is just so fun
Enough fun for everyone
Shorts and t-shirts all day long
The warm weather can't go wrong
Skies are blue and clouds galore
Flowers into bloom, much more
Ice cream on a waffle cone
Flavors always in the zone
Sunsets, painting in the sky
When summer ends, I just ask why?
