Summer

Where is the sun? What have they done?
We've planned for all year, getting things done
We've sweat, we've saved, we've really behaved
We know when it's slow we'll get what we've craved
Sun, sea, sand in our hair, with memories we've saved
Sending those post cards saying "Wish you were here!"
Watching all the great scenery that we hold so dear
And knowing full well it went by way too fast
Yet thinking it was a lot better than year last!
