Suffering-An Art

A new experience,
Knocks the door of your heart,
You let it in, in silence;
Little knowing, bliss is miles apart.

Swaying you off stability,
Staining your nerves and lifeblood,
And robbing your serenity,
You find your heart buried in mud.

That ticker strives hard,
To beat and beat; push past the pain.
The air of stupor is barred,
Letting the feelings of embrace rain.

Washing off the mud
Of dead and depressed emotions...
Mitigation begins to scud,
Breathing new life in blood’s ocean.

Long back, a new experience,
Knocked the door of your heart,
You let it in, in utter silence;
Little knowing, it’s actually an art.
