Sudden Calm
It’s here again
Just as promised
The summer’s end
Sudden calmness
It’s only me
Between these walls
I wait for 3:00
The minutes crawl
A sadness dwells
In the silence
Emotions swell
The aura, tense
It feels all wrong
Inside my home
My babies, gone
I’m all alone
