Such Is the Heart of a Selfish Man

Such is the heart of the selfish man

If I can't have it then no one can

I'll take my sword and cut them down

I'll take my torch and burn their town

Honors son I am not

To rule this world should be my lot

Everyone and every thing

Should bow their heads and crown me king

I want mine and I will not stop

I will take the throne I will be on top

My kingdom I'll rulee with an iron hand

I'll spread my name across this land

Every man every woman every child every beast

Will feel my power and on their blood I'll feast

Love has no part in me

Compation and mercy are for the weak

Who is so selfish mean and crule

He is the carnal man in me and you

That can't be me we might all say

But it is in us in many ways

Jealousy envy racism too

Gossip and slander to name a few

How is this possible how can this be

I thought I was good with my generosity

It isn't just money or goods

It isn't just helping whenever we should

It is liveing my life by the example of Christ

By liveing for all, all of my life
