Such Is Faith's Act

Give me the faith that bears fruit in the wilderness
Just as manna falls in the days of the Israelites
The power of faith that packs the sea
As the Israelites walk through it on dry ground
Through the influence of spirit filled decree

Give me the faith that springs fountain in the desert
Like the striking rock that gushed out water
As the ought to touch Almighty speaks
Answered by the grace of covenant
Despite the urge of anger, Moses was found faultless

Give me the faith that gives testimony to the hopeless
Nebuchadnezarr who thought he had built Babylon a royal residence in his mighty power
And for the glory of his majesty
Was driven out of human society
After years... returned he his sanity and have God praised

But faith admits nothing brings something
Obedience pays the pass over's ransom
More years grant Jacob Rachael as regards culture's norm
Victory gave the Ark of God to the Philistine
As mercy blesses Obed-edom

Though faith of the faithful may fade
Fears of the unrighteous may count
Uzzah met his death trying to steadied the Ark of God
David slept with Bathsheba; wronged but whence made Solomon a forte
Yes, His faithfulness love for Israel endures forever

Give the faith oh lord
The faith that make grace counts
The faith that never get abhorred
Even while trials hang
Lord, give me a faith as such
