Succinct Queen

Unconventionally brilliant
Champions that are resilient
To being rocked down the chart
Living forever in our hearts
Sounds make you want to break free
From the boundaries of conformity
Let them rock you til you drop
Play the game, never stop
Like Mercury rising up the gauge
Under pressure to perform on stage
A kind of magic then ensues
The crowd erupt so enthused
The show must go on still
That would be Freddie’s will
He wanted somebody to love and trust
Not another one that bites the dust
Mr Fahrenheit will live forever
Their songs so many will treasure
Killer Queen come what May
But not without the great Mercury!

It sure is for the contest Paul. I love listening to all sorts of music, i have a bit of an ecclectic taste i think. Nice to hear you liked this one Paul. Your kind comments are always welcome! Warm regards, Laura.
