Success Denied

The seed was set, when his parents met,
Success off course has not come yet.
After having learnt in life so much,
Perhaps with a mind;
An encyclopedia cant touch?
Becoming successful in such a chase,
Very often in some lobbying place;
He considers it, a total disgrace:
For somebody else, to lose (HIS) race.
From the commencement of time,
It was not the swift that ran;
But some cunning old codger with a sinister plan.
Now this is something we all have to face,
Ensure you overtake him to prove your case.
The most suitors don’t come for an eyeful of candy,
They usually fall for some eye popping dandy.
Success doesn’t always go to lifes fast and tall
More often than not to some crooked slime ball.
