Success

Cuts
like glass
upon my face.
But I, the failure,
won the race.
And now that I have passed the test,
all there is left to do
is rest.

The poem makes me wonder and has a great rhyme scheme. But I wish I knew a little more. What makes this your definition of success? Is it a good or bad thing that cuts you like glass? I think you can go farther with this poem.
