Subject: Winter
rude cold pierces bone
footsteps…signal subzero
powder crunches loud
-----------------------------------
lungs ache with pin pricks
nose burns…sinuses frozen
short breaths fog vision
----------------------------------
cold overtakes sense
life…dependent on senses
must find shelter now
