Sub

Subjugation
listen to
all the cheering
the internal seething
external hissing
the breathing the bleeding,
the beating
and weeping
eternally bleating
Is supposed to be
you said, ordained
requiring a mark
and you are marked
whipped mindless,
senseless
Cowed into believing
in ancient lamentations
but didn't you know
when silence crawls,
this is
Subjugation,
it's unconditional
consensual
sweet pain
