Stupidity

we all have this hex
this spell on our lives
a veil that blinds us
a shade on our eyes

stupidity, not a right,
more of a curse
it overwhelms our very existence
allowing the victims to recruit more

it acts on our lives as a catalyst
to stop us in our tracks
prevent us from prevailing
forcing us to take an alternate route

a detour to our destination
to take the long way
when without stupidity
our trip would last but a day

thanks to stupidity its been a month
no search team, no missing reports
not a soul notices me gone and i believe
it for the better

Sorry Steven, I guess the hex is alive and well. Sincerely, Moses
