Stuck Inside Myself
When my eyes first met yours,
These feelings came to me.
Even though you do not see me,
Like I wish to be.
Doesn’t signify that you can’t
Help me break free.
If it is what you want,
I will try to be truly me.
You can see me,
You cannot read my mind.
However, even though you use me,
It does not mean I am blind.
These feelings always stay,
The pain never goes away.
I cannot take this any more,
It becomes harder every day.
I see you in myself,
It has always been the same.
Even though you do not see me,
You have always been worth the pain.
As you, watch me,
You can read my mind.
However, even though you use me,
It does not mean I am blind.
Stuck inside myself, these feelings stay the same.
You will always be worth the sorrow and the pain.
No matter how long I have to wait,
Anything from you will be a gift,
Even if it is only hate.
