Stronger

Your words used to crush me
Push my heart down into the dirt
You know exactly what to say
To make sure my feelings were hurt
I loved you with everything I had
With nothing in return
And as was so predicted
Our love finally crashed and burned
But now I am so much stronger
I need not rely on you
Because confidence radiates off of me
In everything I do
The best thing you did for me
Is show me what love shouldn’t be
And now I’ll live my live without you
Cause I’ve learned to finally love me

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
