Stroll Down His Memory Lane

~Stroll Down His Memory Lane~

As I strolled down his memory lane
I laughted, I cried, I even blushed
I rode on his sunsets and sunrises
At times leaving my face flushed

Fragrant flowers intoxicating all
Along his many paths and roads
Merged t'ween love and sorrow
Streams and rivers gently flowed

Beauty was held within each word
Every stanza and rhyming verse
Told of a caring and giving man
At times left him feeling cursed

Telling of his travels through life
Ups and downs his joys and pain
Heartaches he could not escape
While I'm strolling his memory lane
