Stripped Down To Nothing

As I stood tall strong unmovable from life itself, my mind focused ,balanced with no
worry of tomorrow.

Then it "happened" pain from a bleeding heart starvation came upon me from within.

I was stripped down to nothing

My mouth opened but the words were silent, my throat dry from the strain to push out the
sound of my voice.

surrounded by careless people, with no love, compassion, no feeling, no touch.

I was stripped down to nothing

Fighting to get lose from the chains, beating, physical and mental abuse, choking for
freedom, reaching out with both hands searching for true love.

I was stripped down to nothing

But the strength it gave me was so Great, the battle was won, and again I stood tall
strong and all the time the unknown experience molded me into something.

For now I am free and no longer stripped down to nothing.
