Striking Striking the Only Way

People know the costs sky high.' In France and Britian
By and by.' 35% at least we've swallowed so far; no
Such qualms in the plan-demic, to get cash in the jar.'
Your footsloggers gov. You trundled them out with
Saucepans banging roundabout.' Was that an occult?
Nod? Owning their spirits, touting your clout.? We've
Seen it all the lies heaping up, professionals suffering
Raise a shout! balance and order; are needed no doubt.'
Yet thats not whats wanted, in the robbers lairs.'
Its control and delusions; the daily fare..its corruption
And disgrace..And there in your face..Give it up for the
Medics snd the stand they now make.'

Speaks Volumes April 14, 2023 at 6:38 PM A rousing poem Joe. Yup we are all hurting under the heavy percentage of price rises and taxes. However I wonder if we have a right to complain too loudly when mothers in third world countries have nowhere to bed their children at night and no food to feed them. They would gladly take our computers phones and electric lights and trade them for food for their children. We are still amoung the privileged. Your poem is thought provoking that's for sure. There is Deprivation in those places Sure, so why encourage more By war..A short exerpt I spent Some time with a doctor of Philosophy who was Chech and The subject of Saddam Hussain Cropped up never being a fan Of that war in particular I had Often spoken of him not being Given a chance when he was Squashing the scud missiles to Appease the west years went by I then fell into thinking he was Just crazy anyway till this guy Piped up saying saddam used to Protect minoritys if there was Trouble he would despatch units Of his guard to quell the unrest And so on.'
