Strength to Grow

A seed is planted, small and weak,
Yet deep within, its roots will seek.
Through storms that shake and winds that sway,
It stands in strength day by day.

The sun beats down, the rain pours fast,
Yet through it all, it holds on steadfast.
Not by its might, nor by its power,
But by God's hand, in every hour.

For I can do all things through Him,
When skies grow dark, when light is dim.
Like a tree that reaches high,
By His strength, I rise and thrive.
