Strength
Sacrifice
A life of one’s own
For all
In the home
To bear
To bring
Newness
In love
In action
Selfless
To endure such restless
Occupation
And an array of weighted situations
It takes
Strength
To persevere
The sight
Of the battlefield
And fight
Showing strength
To be resilient
As options,
Remove themself
To allow the strong,
To prove the strength
In themselves
Even so, those
Who acknowledge
Assistance
At the point
Of its necessity
It takes strength
A treasured
Measure
Not found in majority
But in a special being
To shoulder the load
Of many
Lifting,
One’s own,
Family
Giving,
To generations
Generating
Strength
