Strending Poetry
Start your poem with any word. The first letter of the first word will be used as starting letter for every first word in the succeeding lines.
Since your first word will be the most essential word in writing your poetry, the last letter of your first word should appear as its last (standing) letter in ending your poem. I call it "Strending Poetry."
There are twenty-six (26) letters in the English alphabet. Each letter can stand for any word.
The letter "G" is the easiest letter to pick to end your starting word as a gerund.
Explore each letter with different words. Shallow or deep, simple or fancy, short or long, your words are your power in poetry!
Children are most welcome in writing poetry by "strending."

Sit and stretch what your soul tells you
while listening
Shout with joy and write more
with your own thinking!
