Streets of Heaven, Once Crooked

When God created heaven
Everything was perfect, as can be
Angels were everywhere, but
Lucifer was more beautiful to see

Lucifer thought he could overtake.
Streets of gold now a little crooked,
All the way through.
He had Angels turn against God.
Now, that's where trouble started, too.

Tried to convince others
He'd be taking heaven over soon
God already knew what was planned
Out of heaven, Satan, he threw
All of this followers not far behind

Finally, the streets of gold
Once again were straight
No way would God allow
Heaven to fold.
