Streets of Gold

Another day I'm traveling through here
another day without you
another day in the world dear
another day before I'm through

I'm going to walk in that green valley
I'm going to walk those fields with you
Going to drink that holy water
and praise the day this life is through

When you carry me in that wooden coffin
Shining bright with morning dew
Don't shed any tears
I may be gone but I'm not through

Because I'm walking in that valley
on streets of gold and ivory too
hand-in-hand with my love, my darling
Praise the Lord this life is through.
