Street Symphony
Street Symphony
Urban Thoughtz Part 2
As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
The Streets just took another soldier leavin another mother breathless
Trapped in the fact that men cant escape smokin so many trees that they start to shed leaves
Is this the reason so many sistas and brothas have to watch their fathers leave
Beautiful ladies still in A Lady dream
Still workin it out tryna get drafted to a niggas team
And them same brothas doin the same ol things
Playing tha same ol games wit they hearts true deffinition calls it lying
Im livin my life like Jehova a gift and a curse
Tryna spit my soul out everytime my pen drops a verse
But yall still aint feelin me like my name was novicane
Thats why i arrived at my nickname the very steak to the claim
Just like my words i Drizzle a sign of waring before it rains
Keep ya nose in the books and ya head held high
So many of us missed it so then even the sky cried
So many made a turn at he fork when they should have went straight
As communities forget the word togther and embrace the word hate
While mothers beg for they lost sons to be sent to heavens gate
Now we playin the game of life with the difficulty set to hard
I kno that i can make it through even wit my pain and my scars
The message is so clear to me but for others
Its so hard to hear like a moblie phone wit no bars
So live ya own life hold on to everything lovly
Never forget to pray for what it is down on bended knee
And kno that the life you live is forever part of the Street Syphony
