Street Light

Bright shiny light
illuminating streets and sidewalks
bringing cosiness into my rooms

Cool haiku, Gert. I love a room streaming with light. As for your comment on my name, it's a long story. Briefly, it's my husband's name, for mine was Miller. But what is strange, it's not my husband's name even. His mom had his read dad's name obliterated from the birth certificate, so actually, right now I should be Andrea Workman. haha. Dietrich sounds so much prettier I think! Luv, andrea

nicely penned, we live in the country and when I would stay at my grandmothers in town the street light would keep me awake. brings back memories.
