Street Cursed
Your stillness captures
the silence of raptures,
their code of ethics
a bond unbroken.
Left standing alone
still and unchangeable,
unwanted, spaded,
shamed and masqueraded.
Desperate for peace,
tearing up the old lease,
dealt so long ago.
Fueled new thoughts of madness
never ending dought,
death, love, and sadness.
Old friends not wanting amends
holding old pains like newborns.
Male and female
painted and tainted,
roaming the streets
not wanting to eat.
Dark wantings instead
gathering with like kind,
sins twisted mind,
deep rooted for all time.
Gray matter drools out conversation
drop by drop,
thought by thought.
Striking kin minds
wanting kin understanding.
Like J walkers cheating corners,
or do corners shun them,
not caring or sharing
one ounce of it's red light safety.
But stays jaundice and anticipating,
speechless and soundless,
judging, warning for all time.
